And again about women entrepreneurship

On October 21, with the financial support of KVP Ukraine, a business mission of women-entrepreneurs from Ukraine to Stuttgart, Germany, has begun.

Participants from Chernihiv region are as follows: the director of the garment factory “Elegant” Natalia Romanovskaya, the manufacturer of children’s clothing Kateryna Volkova, the deputy director of Rica Spossa Maria Nonis and the vice-president of Chernihiv CCI Larysa Tsygan.

The business mission began with a visit to the German Designers Union VDMD and meeting Ms. Mara Michel. She presented how important the creative industries are to Germany; this is the second largest industry after machibe building in terms of financial performance. For 5 years the German government has been providing € 200 million annually to support this industry.

VDMD is a powerful network that brings together 500 self-employed and employed designers in the fields of fashion, interior design and textiles. It was extremely interesting to know about their activities, events, meetings.

As a gift, our ladies received a trend color map for the next two years – for a better understanding of fashion trends and their use in their work.
There are many visits ahead, meetings with business women at Stuttgart CCI, visits of enterprises.
